Facility operations during snow events

A facility rarely shuts down because it snowed. Operating hours continue, employees arrive in a narrow window, visitors and contractors come and go, deliveries are scheduled, and loading areas still need to function. Service timing is planned around those realities rather than around when a storm happens to end, so access is maintained while accumulation is still building.

Continuous service through the storm

Where continuous service is part of the scope, crews return multiple times during an active event instead of making one pass at the end. Our own weather stations across the city capture conditions every 10 minutes, which lets us deploy equipment before snow builds up on drive aisles and entrances.

Ice management and monitored salting

Fleet salt sensors track the exact application rate used for the temperature and conditions, so surfaces are treated against slips and falls without over-salting. We own multiple fully stocked salt domes placed strategically across the service area, so regional supply delays do not interrupt applications at your facility.

Snow storage, relocation and hauling

Stacking locations are chosen before the season based on drainage, sightlines at exits and how much parking the facility can afford to lose. When those areas fill, snow is relocated on site with loaders, or loaded and hauled off site to restore capacity.

Documentation for your records

GPS tracking, continuous dash-camera photos, daily property audits before opening and post-event inspections give facility and property managers a verifiable record of what service occurred and when, including salt application records.

Pre-season planning

Before winter we walk the site, review the property layout, confirm operating requirements and priority areas, assign the equipment the property needs and agree on snow-storage locations. That planning is what makes service predictable once storms start.
