Snow Removal Equipment & Fleet
Over 50 pieces of equipment, always new and maintained to avoid any disruption.
Winter service is only as reliable as the equipment behind it. Spartan owns and maintains a fleet of more than 50 machines and self-performs every part of the work, so the units assigned to your property are ours to dispatch and ours to keep running.

What we operate
- Wheel loaders with pushers for large lots and yards
- Backhoes and loaders for stacking and snow relocation
- Skid steers for islands, curb lines and tight corners
- Tractors with blades and blowers for drive aisles and sidewalks
- Plow trucks for lots, aisles and access roads
- Salt and de-icing trucks with monitored spreaders
- Dump trucks for loading and off-site snow hauling
- Sidewalk machines and crews with hand equipment
Equipment assigned before the season
During the pre-season assessment we determine what each property needs and assign machines to it. During a storm those units are already committed, rather than being pulled from wherever happens to be free.
New and maintained
All our equipment is always new and maintained to avoid any disruption. Breakdowns are the most common reason a contractor misses a property mid-storm, so fleet condition is treated as a service commitment, not a maintenance detail.
Salt storage infrastructure
We own multiple fully stocked salt domes placed strategically throughout our service area. Crews reload close to their routes, and regional salt shortages do not interrupt our service.
Trained operators
Equipment is only as good as the operator running it. Spartan employs over 150 workers during the winter season and retrains all of them every season, on both operation and site-specific requirements.
Ask what your property needs
We will tell you exactly which equipment and crews your site requires for a normal event and for a major storm.
