Spartan built its winter operation around measurement. Weather stations we own report conditions across the city, GPS records equipment activity, dash cameras capture continuous site photos, and crews audit and inspect properties around each event.
Weather monitoring
Our own weather stations are located throughout the Greater Toronto Area and capture photos every 10 minutes while reporting humidity, air temperature and ground temperature. Ground temperature matters because it determines whether snow bonds to pavement and whether salt will work — it drives when crews are deployed.
GPS tracking
GPS shows when equipment arrived at your property, where activity occurred on site and when crews finished. If a question comes up about a specific event, the record exists rather than depending on memory.
Salt application monitoring
Fleet salt sensors record application rates, which supports both consistent ice control and a defensible record of what material was applied to the property.
Site photography and inspections
